Got the chicken parm today! Came with a fresh side salad, freshly baked bread and pasta! Not a bad deal for $11 and lots of leftovers. The people in there definitely know excellent cooking, family values and customer service.

They were 2 HOURS LATE AND DID NOT APOLOGIZE !!!!!! I had a house full of kids so I had to buy at full price cold pizza and got the oh well attitude from the delivery boy so horrible after calling twice about the 2 hour late pizza they quite answering the phone!!!! Absolutely the worst and rudest behavior very unsatisfactory when I called the next day not only did the owner apologize but he also gave me two free pizzas delivered hot and fresh to my door at my convince wow great way to tell your customers I am sorry and we will make it up to You !!!!

Real family business, really from NY, really doing it right! True NY-Style food, made on-site bread & mozzarella, desserts flown in from NY, daily specials you'll never question, & a GREAT STAFF. I'm a mid-western pizza guy (that means both square-cut and deep-dish) and I've been inundated with NY-style this & that down here forever. However, the Special Stromboli is the closest thing to the pizza I grew up on in Rockford, IL. You can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches. A Caprese salad made from local tomatoes and mozzarella that is made in-house! I love supporting private industry; even more so, a family business (1 father, 2 sons + fiancées + ...), But a family business doing it right gets full street-cred in my book. Bonus points for closing on Sundays; a family must rest to do a job well.

Somewhat difficult to find, but once you find Father and Son's, you will be back! Everything we have ordered here has been excellent. Pizza and the manicotti are superb. Pasta is made fresh onsite. The fried cheese cake bites are crazy good. I highly recommend.

Yup, tried the mid thickness "Grandma's pizza." Exactly as I remember those pizzas I had as a child at South Beach, Staten Island, NY. A sweeter sauce is used. Fresh basil sprinkled on top. Served in a square fashion, cut into 8 large pieces. Amazing quality. Now I can die. Lol...

I am from ny and have been told by my wife i a a pizza snob with that said i think this is a great pizza place . i would highly recommend this place over any in punta gorda. it's a very friendly owner run classic ny pizza.

First time taking out and eating at this restaurant. Purchased a voucher from Restaurant.com which was used this evening by my wife which was preordered as a take out. The woman who took the voucher was not thrilled that she had to accept it and said that we had to spend an extra 1 cent/penny(what we were short), in which the female worker tried to sell my wife a $ 2.75 liter of soda in which my wife passed and purchased a sm. fountain drink. We had the lrg. meat pizza. it was tasty, crust a little harder than I normally like for New York Style, and could have been hotter in temp. when it was picked up at the exact time we requested for pick up. I am giving this rest a 3 for the pizza, and a 1 for the service. We are a first time customer, and with as many pizza joints out there We probably wont go back especially with the price point being higher than normal and the less than avg. quality service. We have spoken to other people prior to us visiting this rest., who have ate here and we have heard that the food was good but that the workers are rude.

When I walked in to the restaurant, the smell of goodness wafted through the air. It is a true authentic pizzaria restaurant. While they were getting my pizza's ready, I asked if they had cannolli's. They were a little pricier than in N.J. $3+ for the cannolli's, and the cannolli's were a little smaller than the pizzaria from my office, but it was still fresh and tasty. We ordered a plain large pie & a vegetable pie and they were both delicious. The crust was perfect on the pizzas - it was hot. When I brought them both back home in Punta Gorda my Italian father-in-law tasted it and said it was very good. The price is pretty much the same as in N.J. but if you order on a Wednesday night you get their special deal on the pizza pies. Which brings the price down per pizza. It is 10 minutes from my house off of I-75. I really would recommend this place. Very family, very italian, very good.
